Teaching a horse to bridle with their head down

Sometimes we get in the habit of doing what is fast and what works, here the trainer shows how spending a few minutes of time can really make a big difference between the horse throwing it's head up in the hair and lowering it nicely for you to accept the bit. Enjoy!

  1. You really did a good job! I am really amazed by trainers. You need a lot of patience before you make them obey on every command. Horse training is somewhat difficult for my sight.

  2. So true. Timing is really necessary in horsemanship. I can imagine how much you are patient with your horse. But then the old saying is true, "Slowly but surely".
